The Maryland Federation of Art (MFA), organized in 1963, is a not-for-profit arts organization with two unique art galleries. Within the Circle Gallery are two exhibition spaces: the Main Gallery and the Holley Gallery named for the MFA co-founder. The City Gallery, opened June 2001, has an individual exhibition space.
Our goals are to encourage and promote artists in their career development and to enrich the cultural awareness of visual art in the community at large. The MFA is supported by volunteers and administered by an annually elected Board of Directors.
The organization gratefully acknowledges the Cultural Arts Foundation of Anne Arundel County, Inc., Maryland State Arts Council, Anne Arundel County, the City of Annapolis and our support group, the Friends of MFA. Funds received from membership dues, sales, and donations are also used to defray MFA operational costs.
